Since Hansbrough is 20 and just now a freshman, shouldn't there be some question as to his academic record? He was in high school last year, which in my estimation would mean that he either failed a grade twice or was held back.... Work with it people!

slackerb, the fact is that Chapel Hill/Carrboro has the highest population percentage of homosexual individuals in the state of North Carolina. If "brokeback hill" doesn't fit them, who does it fit?

Maybe they should be serenaded with "somewhere over the rainbow" as they enter the arena.

hey now ever since that movie came out and got national buzz, this place has had a lot of discussion about using it for the UNC game. too bad it didn't come earlier. in our case it would actually work, unlike for Gonzaga using it on St. Mary's. we're not trying to call out a player for being gay. we're trying to assess the place that is Chapel Brokeback Hill. i'm not a homophobe, in fact i've known a few gay people in my life, but there is something as being too gay. and this seems to fit Chapel Hill in many instances.

this seemed to work for UMD during the Duke game

or...

just have total silence when the smurfs come out, then go crazy when the pack hit the floor. we did this to Maryland and Lefty back in the 70's and they did not know what to do with the complete silence. Also during the opposing team intro start a chant of pack meat instead of red/white.
