He did, however put the "Nightfox vs. Ocean" thing in motion on the boat with the businessman because he knew that nightfox was proud and would want to challenge Ocean... he then presumably set up Ocean and Rusty to meet with the guy and find out about the first job (that Nightfox beat them to)

I get the definite feeling that Le Marc planned out the whole series of events that would bring him both the egg and his daughter.

also, the laser dance thing was kinda cool...but it looked like you could just walk behind the statues and you wouldnt have to mess with all that shit

I always thought that the Night Fox knew the combination because he had cameras watching them in their hideout the whole time they were in Amsterdam.

I am not sure if LeMarc set up the whole thing, but it sure was convenient that his ex-wife had just died as the whole challenge went down.

In the laser dance seen, it really does look like you could just walk right behind the columns.
