because there are nothing but a bunch of want-to-be-grown-up kids whose mommy and daddy pay for them to have their own little place, that are still up when I get homw from work at 3 or 4 in the morning, and its not worth the money to live with people who don't clean up after themselves...if that helps any of you....

I think that has more to do with your choice of roomates than the complex you live in. Your gonna run in to that problem at most college apt's.

Yeah for real. I had a friend who got his crotch rocket jacked from Lake Park. That place is a shithole. Same goes for Melrose and all the other used to be hot spots. I feel bad for all the people that actually bought places at Lake Park because the property value has actually depreciated over the past few years. If you look at the condo/townhouse market now, you can find like 15 or 16 places out in Lake Park going for 100k or less and the sellers are having an extremely hard time getting rid of them.

If you look up Lake Park's property tax information on the Wake County gov website, you'll find that on average they paid about 100k for each of those condos. I guarantee they didn't initially sell those to people for less than 110k. The property and building values currently say they are assessed at 114k but noone is selling them for that because no one in their right mind would pay someone that much for it. I wouldn't give 75k for those pieces of shit.
