It's funny you say that...i am starting to be the same way. for instance, when NCSU was playin BC i started out flipping between the Duke/Temple game and our game but then afterawhile i just ended up watching the Duke game bc the ncsu game was so boring. Also I am starting to wonder if i am even an NCSU fan anymore bc i really dont care whether or not they win or lose anymore...anyone else find themselves questioning if they are a fan anymore?

You can never seem to settle on bitching about how shitty our players are and that is the reason why we suck, or that we have quality players and teams and Herb sucks at managing them. Make up your mind, do it in a less caustic way, and maybe, just maybe, someone will take you seriously.

I think its coaching at this point, and I want a change (I'd rather have Herb change than change coaches) but lets put it in perspective.


We're still playing in the best conference in america....even in a down year.

We have made 5 NCAA's in a row.

Our recruiting classes keep getting better....its herb's dumbass who wont play the freshbabies this year.



I'm gonna give herb about 2 more years to make something happen. That includes winning an ACC regular season title, an ACC championship, or making a final 4. All I ask is for one of these. We've been too close for too long to not have one of these fall into place (although 1 and 3 are more likely). If he cant get something done by the time Fells, Costner, and McCauley(sp?) are juniors or seniors, his ass needs to go.


Until then I'll keep goign to games and having heart attacks watching us choke away greatness.

^^^costner is being redshirted, mccauley gets PT, and there is a reason fells doesn't play more than herb lets him. i don't know what it is, but i've seen herb deal with PT in the past and i trust his judgement. maybe his spot up D is questionable, or maybe he isn't practicing hard.

i've seen some good things from fells, but maybe that's just because herb hasn't played him long enough for us to see the bad things. the thing is, if you moved those three losses in a row to the beginning of the season, and we came into today with the exact same record, i don't think there'd be a single person complaining about herb right now.

my point is that until the post season is over, this season is still up in the air. sure, it's possible we could lose the first game of each tourney and go home. but we also have the potential to win both, if get our game back. the acc tournament is a great oppurtunity for us, because if we keep winning, we get another game to build up our momentum. i still think we could surprise some people.
