this thread is about sports not education. I didnt pick this school based solely on athletics. Granted, theres no way i would have come here if I didnt expect Herb to be fired (seemed like a certainty at the time), Hodge hadnt committed, or Id known Herb was going to just kick our best player off the team.


You cant blame Herb for not having talent because everytime he gets talent he runs them off the team (wilkens & powell). Or he just doesnt play the motherfuckers their first couple seasons (scooter, Costner, Fells, etc).

if you were choosing your school based on their sports teams, what fucking rock did you live under before you came here?

hell you got to witness the best of both of our major sports programs over the last 15-20 years or more. you saw the best quarterback in acc history and one of the best ncsu basketball players of all time. you've seen both programs improve greatly over where they have been for the previous decade. even the fucking football team is better than it was, winning crap bowls and such.

oh and before you say anything, i chose state for academics and i'm an engineer.

OKay its obvious nothing can be accomplished on the wolfweb. This place has been overrun by people with no backbone. Im scared to sign up at packpride because my $10 registration might accidentally contribute to Sendek's salary. I need all supporters to private message me and we can try to find another venue to get the Wolfpack Loyalists off the ground.

I have already received several messages from supporters. My goal is to get us to be about 25 strong for now, and after the effigy burning of Sendek next week maybe we will be so big that we could order 100 cheeseburgers and eat them all at a single meeting.

just because they were good when they did end up playing, doesn't mean they were good before then, or even in practice.

Look at football, Baker was apparently the better back in practice, but Brown seems to have been the better in game back.

And Costner did play, until he got the stress fracture. Herb didn't just "not play him"

but I don't know of anywhere where just herb would see it. so most likely only a couple people would see it and then it would quickly be removed.

The brickyard would provide the opportunity for lots of people to see it. Especially if you put it up during lunch.
