What exactly is emo about me? Actually, go ahead and define "emo" for me. I'm curious as to what you think it means.

And the reason I don't like NIN is because they are garbage. They don't make good music in my opinion.

hahhha my friend called me from after the show & said it was the worst show ever, he was the oldest person there, & they covered 3 n-sync songs.

then my friend came over w/ his voice all horse from singing & he was like "oh, i was just messing w/ u"

i went. you could just look around at half of the people there and say to yourself "yep, they got beat up as a kid"

good show though. the last set kicked ass. hurt-hand that feeds-head like a hole.

fuck trent reznor for giving depeche mode a shout out.

Trent Reznor actually moved around on the state...
i was stunned...
actually wound up being a decent show...

although Bauhaus was better, even if the crowd was shitty and mostly thinking "who are these guys"...
and if Trent keeps working out he's gonna start looking like Henry Rollins.

the show was incredible, fucking amazing energy from the first song to the last, it was nonstop insane greatness.

the set was near perfect, i loved that they played mostly old stuff, while i love With Teeth it just doesn't compare to Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral, and The Fragile.

the LED grid that they lowered down in front of the band on several songs was so fucking cool, i had never even dreamed of seeing that at a concert.

highlights for me would have to be closer, something i can never have, down in it, la mer, march of the pigs, somewhat damaged, and BURN

i am still awestruck from this show and i will definitely see them live again.

reminded all of us of the metal thing they pull down when stores at the mall close. cool effect, but really lame looking.

Just got back from the Charlotte show, which was pretty awesome. I'm not that into NIN, but I definitely like them more after seeing them live. Closer was great.

And I was about four rows from the front, so the sound was fucking perfect.

Awesome show. I agree with pretty much everything keefus said.

I think I would have liked TV On The Radio had their sound quality been better. Maybe it was just me, but it wasn't clear. The crowd wasn't much into their show, either.

Is that why they didn't do an encore? I was pretty dissapointed about that. I was also surprised the pit wasn't as crazy as previous concerts I have been too. I didn't have to fight for my spot up front at all! It was great!

i believe that HURT was supposed to be the 1st song on the encore but i think they just got started late that they had to just rush and get the last 3 songs in

the charlotte show was badass, i had lawn seats and although i wasnt right at the front where all the action happened, i did get the awe of the backdrop of the lightning(sp?) storm that rolled over and lit the hell outta the sky while they were on stage rockin out...

then the rain came and i have to say all that combined made that one of the best shows ive ever been to...

The rain was pretty cool, and Trent singing "rain rain go away" right then was funny. The mist it made across the stage was awesome.

yeah i'm pretty sure. one of my friends worked afterwards breaking down the set and loading it up.

he said NIN had to be off stage by 10:30-10:45 so they could start working.

Well it's originally in that song anyway. It just hadn't started raining before that song started, so it was perfectly timed.

charlotte was up there with the best shows i've ever seen.

raleigh was decent. some tool grabbed my arm during terrible lie and tried to pull me away from the rail in the pit. i've never had someone try and use force to remove me from my rail spot before. kind of killed my show high.

va beach was also decent. trent gave me his tamborine and aaron jumped into the crowd during march of the pigs.

i'm pissed i couldn't afford dc.

"The Becoming" was played a couple times at soundcheck, I was standing at the foot of the stage watching them rehearse.

I guess Trent didn't like the way it was turning out, so they didn't play it at the concert later that evening.
