I don't know what he scored... and I could be wrong here, but I don't believe V was ever found to have broken any academic rules.

Granted, he probably twisted them and took them to the limit as far as who he could get in, but from what I understand, he really didn't "cheat".

I know for a fact that the ACC academic standards back then were much much easier than they are now and that they made a lot of changes to policy becuase of the V situation.

Like I said, he may have cheated to get Washburnin , I've just always heard that he stretched the rules but never broke them...

a coach represents the school he is associated with. a DUI is a pretty serious matter (especially around sports in raleigh due to history) so i think its perfectly acceptable for people not to want to have a coach who is associated with it.

but thats besides the point, huggins isnt a good coach. that in itself is enough reason not to want him.

If and only IF we have to get another coach, why not try and get Rick Majerus? He is as good of a coach as Huggins and you know he would keep our program clean. Im a big fan of his, even if he is a big Gay guy.

But seriously look at what he did at Utah and Marquette, imagine what he could do at an ACC school where he could actually have something to draw talent to? Plus he has a better NCAA resume record than most of the coaches mentioned. If he has the health he probably is looking to get back into coaching.
