1. An adjustment to the game plan during a 5-7 minute scoreless streak

3. Trying to sit on 10+ point leads in the last 10 minutes of the game rather than firing 3-balls 5 ticks into the shot clock.

All of that comes down to coaching. I'm just saying.

As for the article? I say it's one thing for me to be a jackass on TWW, a blog, or in a sports bar watching my team play Wake Forest with the intensity of Ben Stein. It's another for someone to put that in the school's paper before we even get our first round boot. Slightly to very uncalled for.

I do hope Herb goes to another program and has plenty of success. I just don't think that "plenty of success" is going to happen for him here, so why not take a chance on someone who it might happen for?

Prior to the 1990s, THE "rivalry" was UNC and NC State.

If we actually won a decent percentage of the games against Duke and UNC, we would be considered a "rival" and we would not be ridiculed. The rivalry between Duke and Maryland for several years just recently is an example of that.

And part of this IS Herb's fault. He's had control of this program for 10 friggin years. And his record against UNC and Duke is something like 8-38.

I never said I wanted him fired. I said he needs to switch offenses, teach his teams to rebound, and quit relying on 50% of our shots to be 3 pointers. Unless we get out of this offense we are going to be a horrible rebounding team, an unathletic team, and a streaky team.

I'm tired of watching us get ran over vs. more athletic teams or have our "off nights" where we shoot 5% from the 3 point line, yet for some reason still heave up 40 3 pointers despite Cedric Simmons only touching the ball in the paint 4 times.

I really think it is sad that people who go to this fine university are too young to remember the good ole' days. Back when everyone who went to this establishment were State fans. Now, I walk around campus and see of all things, people wearing Carolina shirts. My grandfather (State graduate) is probably rolling in his grave. I agree Sendek needs to be gone, and I actually have a credible source that he will be after the first round, but more needs to be done. We need to challenge the requirements to get in this school so that when you ask someone why they went here they won't reply, "I didn't get in to UNC." Please ship these fuckers out to ECU or App. St., because this die hard is a little bit sick of seeing this shit.
