Maybee a plaque is not the best idea, it is just the first thing that came to mind you know.

Any sort of symbol of appreciation would work out.

Another idea is that there already is the anual award ceremony coming up, why not find a representative of the student body to give him something there?

The semester is coming to an end, so the issue of when to do it is the top priority

To be positive and support the bball team, staff, etc. that's fine. It just means some ppl's patience is longer than mine (10yrs). But things like marches and shit would just embarass our school and those ideas were bad.

And since its for mediocrity, we can march to "I heart NY Pizza."

Damn it, today was a missed opportunity:

I talked with JC a bit this morning, I tell him to let Sendek know that there are a bunch of students out their that support the team and Sendek. I tell him that they accomplished a whole bunch this season, and that it was fun to watch.

I FORGOT to ask him his opinion on the best way to give Sendek some appreciation. I am still looking for something clever and thoughtful that might make an impact on him. any other thoughts?

Hopefully we can pull something togeather by next week or so, at least a solid plan or idea.

i'll be a supporter provided it's not stupid, and is a basic "thank you herb, we'll always back the team no matter what" type of thing. what about a framed collage of classic images of him and his players. the one of him and Hodge after the UConn win is one example that comes to mind. i don't know, i just want something that shows that we appreciate that he had built up our program cleanly and cares about his players as well as the regular students that come out and support the team. i think a plaque would just be ammunition for the other teams around the ACC especially our neighbors down I-40.
