With good reason.

Lowe is an unknown and the verdict's still out on him.


ASU is getting a coach who has taken a program (albeit a much more "bigtiime" basketball program) to a string of continuous postseason appearances. For them, what he did here is unheard of. If he can do anything close to that they'll name the damn arena after him and erect statues around campus. I'd be excited if I was them too. They got a really good coach. Not a world beater, and I think he'll thrive in a more low pressure situation / non ACC, but Herb is going to be a very very good coach for them IMO

wonder if adidas is gonna be asu's sponsor? wonder if asu's football coach will pay tribute to the defense that herb's bball team plays by their coach wearing adidas basketball shoes? wonder of University of Arizona will start dogging on asu's football coach for wearing clown shoes?
