Aerosmith with Kid Rock Aerosmith with Lenny Kravitz Rolling Stones at Duke last Oct. Flame all you want but Kenny Chesney concerts are fun as hell, even though I usually get too drunk to really rememember Skynyrd and Allman Bros was pretty cool a couple years ago Black Crowes in Asheville a few weeks ago
PS- there are rumors, RUMORS I REPEAT that the black crowes, drive by truckers, and robert randolph might tour together this summer

due to the number of shows I attend, I'm having a hard time with this one. there've been so many great ones. 4/4/2006 9:04:14 AM |

pearl jam in philly last fall was awesome as well. they just played obscure song ater obscure song.. as much fun as evenflo is live, it was nice to hear sonic reducer, alone, and crown of thorns.. pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime show
and they played evenflo anyway
i'm sure there are others, but radiohead has been a super-letdown every time i went.. never had anything to do with the band 4/4/2006 9:35:28 AM |

tguk 2nd show, summer of 1999 go!. postal service at go in 2002. radiohead with stephen malkmus and the jicks, camden NJ, 2003 oddly enough, NIN, 2000. (i think it was 2000) eninge down cd release party for to bury within the sound, kings (~1998) cave in - backdoor skate park (1997 or 1998, beyond hypothermia days) (piebald played too) gloria record, national skyline - go! 1999 gloria record, skylight exchange - like 1997 or something jejune at some place in greenville i think, wayyy back converge at some place in virginia beach. casket lottery was good at go, but better at backdoor.
god, i used to go to shows damn near everynight, its hard to keep track of who sucked live =(
somehow, i missed every single opportunity to ever see coalesce live, which really bites at me still. 4/4/2006 9:56:31 AM |

The longest with a little bit of everything: KWS/Ted Nugent/ZZ Top
The group who sounded closest to the records: Boston
The best show: Ted Nugent shooting bow and arrows at people hidden in bunkers on stage.
The best normal show: The Doobie Brothers
The best jam and musicianship: The Allman Brothers Band
The most fun: Skynyrd and the Allmans 2 years ago.
