The media can try to rail us out all they want. As a lot have said and I agree with, not everyone wanted Herb gone, but he knew there was a lot of unrest. Am I happy Herb is gone and we have a chance to explore to coaching pool? yep...Am I happy with going after Barnes? or Calapari? Not particularly. I want what is best for the program and we can debate all day whether that was Herb or the unamed new head coach, we won't know until 2 or 3 years down the road I'm sure.

No matter what happens we are going to catch criticism from these sports writers. Herb is going to succed at ASU (at least I hope he does), mainly because they are in the Pac-10 and not the ACC. Nothing we do will change Herb left us, and we are struggling to find a good fit for the position. Fowler is a smart man, he will figure something out.
