I have lived here for like 3 years or something and havent had much of a problem at all. Maybe because I have had private landlords and decent roommates the whole time. Never had my place or car broken into that I know of or even attempted. Never noticed it being that loud other than the occasionaly rebel yells after we won a football or basketball game. Guess I have just been lucky so far.

If you want to live in that area, check out The Summit (just before Lake Park). I've been there 3 years and don't have a single complaint.

Didn't read all of this, but U-Suites is a good call... a lot of my sorority sisters live there with no problems
