My parents paid for all of undergrad w/ no financial aid for all 3 of us.. (bro is in school; sister graduated in '01). I was the cheapest w/ in state for 4 of 5 years here.
I'm taking 18,500 each year for law school and paying the rest out of pocket so I'll be roughly 60,000 in the red starting out in the workforce.. no big deal though.

~71000 in bank ~21000 invested no debt from college car paid off pay credit card in full at end of each month car probably worth about 8k i am guessing(get it to equal 100k)

graduated in Dec 2003, been working in the disaster field for 18 months and counting, I have made tons of money. graduated with about 2k in the bank(i guess)
71k is in the money market, when I finish this round of disaster work, I will talk to my brother in law again about investing(owns his own fin consulting co).

Nah. I think my parents raised me well enough and gave me more than enough to be happy. College paid for would have been nice ... but not needed. l know to save up for my kids.
