"On this very night, ten years ago, along this very stretch of road in a dense fog just like this. I saw the worst accident I ever seen. There was this sound, like a garbage truck dropped off the Empire State Building...And when they pulled the driver's body from the twisted, burning wreck. It looked like this..."

I didn't watch many scary movies as a kid. There are only two moments that I remember scaring me. One was Large Marge from Peewee Herman.

My number one as a kid was the very begining of Ghostbusters. First, the Paramount statue (the lady with the torch) has glowing eyes and the creepy music is playing. Then, the librarian gets spooked. But the real moment was when they yell "GET HER" and the old ghost turns into a mummifed monster and it roars. Holy crap that got me the first time I saw it.

Did anyone else see that crazy fucking 80s movie "Murder by Death?"

Hands down had the most brutal murder scene committed to film.

Two scenes left out:

- Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom: ripping out the heart.
- Total recall: Arnold, et al. out on Mars surface with eyes popping out.
