You can also go out to Shearon Harris Lake, I believe it is free all the time and is a few minutes closer than Jordan. Although the Farrington Point ramp on Jordan is always free too. Or just go during the week and then all the state owned ramps are free .

On a side note, I spent last weekend cruising around Jordan in this:

Brand new AR 230, too bad its not mine But it is a lot of fun. Now I've just got to be able to consistently get my fat ass up on the wakeboard.

^ I've got dual carbs on my 93 XP that I'm going to have to rebuild soon. Definately not a cheap job.

^^ How is the wake on those? I've always read that jet boats just don't produce a decent wake no matter how much you load them down, but I've never wakeboarded behind a big jetboat.

it gets a decent wake. Or atleast it does when I'm on the kneeboard; haven't gotten to the point where I'm overly concerned about the wake with the wakeboard.

We've had mixed opinions so far about the jets. Like in more gradual turns it isn't quite as responsive as a boat with a prop, but I've never seen another boat turn sharp like that does. If you turn it hard over when your going full out, that bitch turns on a dime. Never woulda thought that a 23 ft boat would turn as sharp as it does.

we was out there having fun, weather was pretty nice all the way till 6pm then we had to roll out.
the park ranger wasnt too happy about us srinkin beers though i cant beleive theres not a lake over here where you can drink on the beach.
ranger said we can drink on the water though, since its not part of the park somehow. she be wondering why we got the lil 440 towing a kiddie pool with bunch of drunk ass fools in it and big igloo cooler full of beer floatin behind swingin on a rope

Skack, def, holla when you got your ski over here we''ll go tear some shit up

^well then i dont know what the prob is. it turns over fine all day (well not anymore, the battery is dead right now). when i put the plugs back in, all it does is click.

they were running good, then it got rolled in the lake, it was rolled back over the proper way. it was at home and i took the plugs out and damn thing was flooded with water, so i let it all out. right now there is the slightest amount of mist that comes out when the plugs are out, i cant get all the water out.

hopefully the damn thing isnt hydrolocked.

yeah thats exactly what it is.. my lil kawasaki kept doing that till i got all the water out of it. take the plugs out, take the cooling hose off the exhaus manifold and blow the compressed ait in it towards the engine block till all the water is out of the cooling system. thenkeep turning the engine over with the plugs out for a few minutes(might wanna spray some wd40 in thecombustion chamber) till you get all the water out of there as well. put the plugs back in, put the colland hose back in. turn it over. if its still clicking, pull the plugs again and keep tugning it over till all the water is out. it will start eventually.
