its not really the hitting that your missing its pitching. Mussina and Wang are healthy the Unit is ailing, and Aaron Small is anything but consistent. the other two are on the DL. A-Rod keeps hitting meaningless homers like last night and sucking in the clutch, the only bad thing is the injuries came early and if they are healthy at the all star break they could and knowing the Sox history still win the division. I am just happy we have taken 4 outta 5 from the Yankees.

While the pitching is HORRIBLE, its compounded by the fact that we're missing most of our outfield. And it seems like the team has been out of synch, maybe b/c of the injuries, with all the errors they've been committing.

If they play like shit when I go to the games on the 6th and 7th I'm gonna be so pissed off.

i wouldn't say the yankees pitching is horrible...
*randy johnson is slumping right now but i'm sure he's not gonna end the year this bad (even despite his old age)
*mike mussina has been lights out
*aaron small has potential and he can definately return to last years form where he won 6 or 7 straight games to end the year
*the other 2 starters suck though (wong and ?)

either way the yankees are weaker than they have been in years and i don't think they'll make the playoffs. They'll probably finish 3rd behind the jays and the red sox.
