i am sure it'll sell fine at 500-600, but not nearly as well as if it cost as much as the xbox360. kids who may be interested in multiple systems will end up with a 360 or wii though. think about how many ps2's sold even after xbox and cube came out. i would bet that 360 may be the leader this holiday.

i was a sony guy...had a ps2...didnt care about xbox...then my ps2 crapped out with a disc read error...didnt know they would replace it so i got a new one for $150...played it a few weeks and got a disc read error...sent it back to sony for $15 shipping and they "fixed it"...couple days later disc read error...went an bought an xbox...never fucked up...got a 360...love that shit...imo

These games systems seem to be designed for people with high def tvs and a need to play dvd's on their game system....
Not your average gamer with average income with a dvd player.

It would cost a couple grand if you already don't have high def to make any of these systems worth buying.
