"
The footage shown was a scene where an ex-convict named Troy is chained inside what appears to be a classroom. Troy is the unfortunate pawn in Jigsaw's latest game. "This game will take place in a room not much bigger than the room you've spent most of your life in," Jigsaw advises the frightened ex-con via a television feed. "Despite all the privileges you were given at birth, you returned to prison again and again."

Troy has chains pierced through his hands, feet, lip, chest and back. "It's time to see how far you're willing to go to break those chains, once and for all," Jigsaw says.

A beat-the-clock scenario then ensues where the ex-con must rips the chains from his flesh as the seconds run down. Blood gushes from the horrific wounds the ex-con inflicts upon himself while trying to escape his grim fate."

there is no way you can really compare Saw I to Saw II. they had to make it different somehow, and they did and i thought it was a great twist. Im sure Saw III will be different also, but still be great. I cant wait for it to come out

I think a great game would be to set up people as human chesspieces and hold all their children hostage on the sidelines. The losers team gets all their kids killed. And you have to let them kill you if you're taken out in the game of chess.

I'd be like "WTF, I got the pawn card. DAMMIT!"
"Sweet, I'm the King. Last to die bitches!"

Then it will be in an endless loop and the camera will zoom out to see that they are actually just one part of their own chessboard

haha

I'm gonna have to see this this weekend. I know I'm gonna be disappointed, because the ending of Saw was one of the best endings I've seen. No other movie have I sat there with my jaw wide open for more than a minute straight.

I just really hope this isn't a gorefest, which it probably will be.

Anyone that sees it tonight, be sure to put a **SPOILER** tag if you're going to reveal something, I do want to go into it not knowing anything.

3rd one is by far the weakest.

sorry, I actually liked the first and second one a lot. But this one misses some of the elements that made the first two awesome, mainly a really cool surprise ending or two. Don't get me wrong, they try, but are far more predictable this time around.

The death scenes are a bit more gory and violent than the others. If you wanna watch it for that, you will enjoy it. Basically what you wanted to see in Hostel and the like.

One thing that was kinda cool is there are a lot of flashbacks that answer questions about the other two and reveal some things you didn't know.

But yeah, overall, this is my least favorite. I guess everyone needs to give it a week or two before they discuss the ending...so I'll be nice.

YES.
Like I said, this one is easily the least favorite. If you skip the second this one will be even more lame because it might be a bit confusing then. Also, the second one was a lot better, so shit... watch that one just to watch it.

there wasn't any bad cgi or anything

the effects were better and made everyone cringe

the movie just wasn't up to par with the others.

feast is much better imo and you can rent it

Personally, I thought 1 and 2 were both really good. They both had twists at the end that were really cool and that the average moviegoer would probably not expect. The third one was the weakest by far. Yeah, the death scenes were pretty cool. I don't know if I have a "favorite" death scene from this one (I liked the razor wire from Saw 1 and the needle pit from Saw 2), but the traps were still very cool.

**Possible Spoiler**
I guess what I didn't like about this one is that the twist at the end (you know there is one coming) really doesn't "fit" with the rest of the character's actions. Jigsaw kept saying to Amanda throughout that "Your life depends on her." This would have only been true if the husband would have shown up at the exact time when Amanda shot his wife, and also assuming he wouldn't have shot Amanda anyways even if his wife was alive. In the other 2 movies, the twists made me go "Oh shit!!" This one did not.

It wasnt near as good as the first one but I for some reason enjoyed it more than the 2nd one.

I like the flashbacks and explanations and the twist there towards the end werent bad. I think with the twist that Saw 1 had with the killer gettin up off the floor and slammin the door shut.....i mean you just cant beat that.

But, if you're looking for an absolute slasher, blood, guts (probably the most gruesome movie i've seen) then you'll enjoy saw III

I would give it a 6/10

No, he wanted to talk to HER about getting a divorce from HER husband, and she didn't want to discuss it right then.
