I support the guy either way.

just not as our quarterback. He had his shot, he blew it, moved on to the next one. He seems like a good guy, so I have no personal hatred of him.

what really matters is we could have one more alum in the nfl which bodes well for recruiting no matter how he gets there...but especially because he more than likely got his shot because of good words to Gruden from Trestman. As a high school quarterback that connection has got to be enticing.

Thats one thing that i can say about the nfl as a league. They really give guys who don't get drafted a chance. Somebody who wasn't that good, could at least tell their kids some day that they had a shot with a team.

Most people don't even get that shot ya know.

Yeah, but to his credit he didn't have much of a supporting cast on the ground. In the 6 INT game I'm pretty sure TA was more than likely hurt and our running game sputtered for most of the year alternating the 3 RB's we had.

Last year we lost some games in the beginning(against some decent teams) because we never had a ground game. Enter Marcus. Baker has a few break-out games, then enter Brown and Marcus piles on wins.

I think with the run-oriented ideals of Gruden and the players around him in TB, I really think Jay Davis could be a solid back-up or 3rd stringer. And I hope the best for the guy.

Could be the next Willie Parker, haha.

while I definitely hope the best for the guy, I couldnt disagree more with the first part of this statement...in all honesty, I really think he should've been a solid 3rd stringer in college but nothing more
