you have a solid set of pitchers without him but see if you can get a decent pitcher in return

bonderman, santana, rogers, and lackey are the best pitchers in the American league
i got lackey too; 2 straight shutouts with 10 Ks in each of his last 3 games

he either wanted kazmir or lackey....i opted to keep lackey because he doesn't walk as many as kazmir and he's on a Cy Young-candidacy streak right now. I think kazmir will really break out next year (thankfully this isn't a keeper league).

I had Chavez and dropped him in my league, hes been sucking it up for a while with the exception of one odd home run. I wouldnt pick him up.

I just had liriano go on the DL and I need to pick up someone in his place
my league is very small because its just a league between a few buddies of mine so there are a lot of good people on free agency

i could care less how high his ERA is as long as he gets a shitload of Ks (at least 1 per inning)
