actually you can do what the inspection resetter does on an obdii car w/ a piece of wire
turn ignition on, jumper two wires on the diag port for a couple seconds and voila.
in short, YOU BOUGHT THE WRONG TOOL! 7/6/2006 9:01:47 AM |

just so you guys know i've got a 10mm wrench. $25 to use it as many times as you need. you'll need it at least twice, once to remove a bolt for the component you're trying to change & once to reinstall it. 7/6/2006 5:22:35 PM |

i'm not being a jew. unlike a 10mm wrench, this appears to be a pretty rare tool that is in high demand. its also expensive. so i dont think its unreasonable for people to help pay for some of the cost to use it. heck $20-25 sounds a lot better than $70 to me. not to mention the convience of not having to go to Durham at least once. 7/6/2006 9:14:34 PM |

FE- EVAP large leak detected F6 *Secondary air system flow too low cyl #4-6 D6 Vehicle speed signal not present
cant remember 4th one. thought the FE is something stupid like gas cap. on F6 i dont know if it is something with vacuum. i have no leaks after MAF or near/around throttle body. shine some light if you know 7/21/2006 12:17:16 AM |
Scottyc All American 1956 Posts user info edit post |
better check that diff to make sure teh bolts arnt backing out? MPH gauge isnt working I assume?
The F6 prob will be fixed with replacement of the air pump. 7/21/2006 12:51:14 AM |

hmm ill check . mph gauge is working fine ...thats the irony od D6. cant figure out what else can that code mean? also the CEL goes away from time to time. 7/21/2006 12:59:06 AM |
MaxxedOut95 All American 6853 Posts user info edit post |
the FE code most of the time has to do with a rubber peice on the evap canister, alot of people have it present but it generally won't throw a CEL by itself. 7/21/2006 7:43:10 AM |
1in10^9 All American 7451 Posts user info edit post |
not sure. i got the famous cold morning rough idle/hiccups until it warms up for about 1-2 min. ill try to swap a different MAF i have sitting around for F6 code at least.
