My friend is working at a HAGWAN (SP?!) in Korea teaching english to 6th graders so they can get into college in america. She has a nice place to stay at (albeit small) in a trendy area of Soeul (she is korean american). I have another friend (white guy) who is living in Hong Kong teaching english. He didn't know much chinese and went there straight after highschool. We graduated in 2001 and he's still there. I'm sure Hong Kong is better than Shanghai or smthg b/c it was a british colony so english is common?!
