revenge sketch was good ... tupac sketch is the best of the new footage. the rest isn't even worth DVR space.

and charlie murphy should be the lone host. while rawlings is the second funniest (behind chappelle) in most of the sketches, he is absolutely brutral as a co-host. not funny one bit.

i think this stuff was "lost" because Chappelle didn't like it and wasn't going to air it. He felt too pressured by CC to put out another season, regardless of quality...

^ i mean, i went into this shit expecting it not to be funny, so yes i guess you could say "i dont know if its funny cause its not done"

the wu shit was funny, the cribs shit was kinda funny, the stereotypes shit was funny, so paired into one episode could make a good one. my point is, for sake of depth of material, it couldnt be, so it diminished the quality of its parts, making it a shitty whole.

in time magazine he makes mention of how during the taping of the sketch, a white man laughed particularly hard at this sketch.

The blackface made it teeter enough on the edge and, as stupid as it sounds, made it so you (ie not black people) shouldnt laugh too hard at something like this. Bringing up stereotypes is one thing, but playing into them is another.

Hypocritical, yes, considering his racial looks are what made him rich, but I see his point

pretty much each lost episode had 1 (maybe 2) funny sketches and the rest were stupid. generally the last sketch was the funny one, as expected.

i agree if he would have kept taping and been selective it coulda been a funny season between wu tang, tupac, cribs, pixies, revenge, maybe even the howard dean one (it wasnt great, but i could see it airing with other ones, i laughed the 2nd time i saw it).
