Damn. Phil hit the same amount of temporary objects (hospitality tent and garbage can) as he did fairways. Even worse, he hit a tree the next shot after hitting the tent. He might as well have just closed his eyes and taken the shots. I like Phil, but damn son, you're a pro golfer. The hospitality tent isn't even near anything, well except for your ball.

Yep, I was yelling at the TV when he took out his driver again on 18, and when I saw that long iron in his hand on the second shot I was speechless. I feel like I was punched in the gut. It was like seeing our basketball team come out flat like they didnt give a shit against UNC last year. Its one thing to just suck and get beat, its another thing to be completely retarded. Mickelson's short game is so fucking good that he could have pitched out to inside 100 yards and probably won the damn tournament by getting up and down for par. He's the best short game player on tour right now, but he tried to be a hero. Phil should know better than anyone....David fucking Toms whipped his ass in the PGA championship in 2002 by doing what on 18????????? LAYING UP!!!!

/rant GG Oglivy for his par saves on the last two holes.
