for the record, CAT doesnt make or install the armor. IDF does.

and it doesnt matter if you lay down in front of and subsequently get run over by a 49-ton unarmored D9 bulldozer, or the 59-ton IDF armored version... youre going to be squished.

yeah, technically youre right... but i mean really, every fucking thing is weaponized now. the term is being abused.

its a D9 CAT dozer. the damn thing is 49 tons without armor. the end users (Israeli Def. Forces) can go add 10 tons of armor to protect the machine and driver from explosive ordnance, but the damn thing isnt going to kill anyone any better than a regular unarmored one straight off the assembly line.

i mean, stand still long enough to let either one run you over, and youre equally dead.

caterpillar should STOP selling them to the people if caterpillar KNOWS of the intended harmful/illegal/whatever use of it. Since they continue to sell them knowing of the harmful intent, they are taking all of their "great work" from the past and taking a hot steamy poop and mixing them in a bag and lighting it on fire and eating it then pooping it back out and repeating the process.

if i was selling items to a customer and later found out it was used for harm, i'd stop selling it, no matter the profit.

^ Well what he said wasn't too far off. They can know who's buying their machines if they talk to the dealers, but they sell machines through dealerships. Also, people can (of course) buy and sell these machines after they've been sold originally through dealerships. That might not be so easy to track.

The point is, they don't sell directly to the people that use the machines.
