When I was a little kid, i went to the batting park like every other day. And although I wasn't that great of a hitter versus a live pitcher, I could nail the "major league" 90 mph cage every time, simply from practice.

This idea wouldn't be as simple as that, but it'd still remove a lot of what is great about baseball.
