depends what you like

it is far more player driven than WoW, far more people on the server cluster (28K +) theoretically you could bump into any of them, huge universe that is planning on another major expansion in the near term

EVE is a space based MMO, $19.99 to initially buy then $14.99 /month or you can get a longer plan and pay less per month (upfront)

it has an inital steep learning curve but it flattens out nicely quickly.

I've never played WoW but then again I dont like games you have to actively play for hours to advance... Hell I'm advancing on 2 characters right now. the skills/abilities are time based mostly.

there will be a newly improved NPC and single player (well not player involved at least) aspects that are supposed to be implemented soon.

Very deep game play, any profession just about you could pull off in some way.

If you like sitting at your computer for hours on end, not be able to get up in the chance that you will miss something, and total linear non open ended gameplay then wow is for you.

If you enjoy open ended non linear gameplay and being able to get up from your comp and still be advancing (hell you can be away for days and still be learning new stuff) then EvE is for you.

.1-.4 you can do whatever you want in belts and around planets, around gates and stations the guns will shoot you, but they are tankable with a BS like a raven or mega.

Also, if you try to get into 0,0 and make it past the first system (which will be camped) i'll be suprised.

How much of a deal do you want on a raven? I cant go to low cause 1. I have to buy most of the mega and zyd to build them, and 2. ravens are at an all time low, they used to be around 110-130mil, now going for 100mil, and I think mineral prices have stayed the same. Next time Im in Jita i'll add up the mineral value total to build it versus selling the minerals straight and see where its at.

Put on more warp stabs. If you have one on and get jammed by someone then they are using a 7500m +2 jammer, or 2 +1 20km jammers.
