fuck that. that's a great movie. it's not faithful to the book, but Lady Chablis more than makes up for it.

i bought once upon a time in america without having seen it because it starred robert de niro, was directed by sergio leone, and scored by ennio morricone. this should be the formula for a terrific movie...alas it blows. its way too fucking long and i saw the ending coming within the first 20 minutes of the movie. i own it and i shouldn't.

the outlaw directed and produced by howard hughes...shouldn't own it. it came with my purchase of the aviator.

my dad bought Hollow Man for me from the dvd value bin at walmart. the best part of this movie is rhona mitra topless and the cgi.

alot of people hated other movies that i have...but fuck i love them. such as

collateral
spy games
underworld
12 monkeys
constantine
final destination 1&2
freddy vs. jason
sleepy hollow
IT

Rather than make a new thread, I thought this would be the place to say that the Kingdom of Heaven Director's Cut DVD is infinitely better than the theatrical release, and the movie would have likely been much better received had this version been released in theaters.

Just watched it today and loved it. If you thought the theater version was okay, give this one a chance; you won't be disappointed.

$26 plus tax at Best Buy, not bad for a four disc set.

True, but it was released in either May or June, plus it's nearly 3 and a half hours long, and it's awesome.

[Edited on July 8, 2006 at 4:25 PM. Reason : So wait awhile, but keep it in mind. I'm sure it will get cheaper.]

I own The Day After Tommorrow because it was free with my Blockbuster online account. Although i did choose it over Mystic River and some other movies. I find the movie to be hilarious (ie jake's character being chased by ice is classic)!

The sex scene at the beginning is very disturbing...

A horrible interpretation of my favorite book.
