well NADH is one of the products of the krebs cycle and is used in electron transport cycle to produce atp

plus the structure has adenine in it.

its prolly fair game for the next test too

Do you guys think there will be structures from previous tests again on this one? NADH totally blindsided me on the last one....For some reason structures absolutely never stay in my long term memory...

ehh. i dont think so...except like glucose, pyruvate, fructose, alpha ketoglutarate, oxaloacetate....since they're kinda important...

Nope, but the first day of class they said in order to make it even T/Th would start the first week of classes and M/W would go the last day.

There is NO class on Tuesday, Monday is the last day...therefore, no problem session
(and I'm aware we have a test on Tuesday, but the last day of class is Monday)

Hey guys Ive got a few questions about the the practice test. Question 1- In the multiple choice question D where does the fadh2 and the other nadh come from. Didnt I read in the book it gives off one nadh and one qh2. Maybe I am just missing this but I have read the book and the notes about pyruvate dehydrogenase and dont reall see anything that relates to question A. Could anyone point me in to wehere that sections is. Thanks in advance.

one cycle produces one...but there are 2 cycles for every 1 glucose. So double the products....Is this what you were talking about?

So what are we doing in lecture tomorrow-he said we weren't going to review wednesday? does that mean he's giving his "nonrequired" lecture??

NO! Thats what i'm afraid of...there's so much material. If he decides to switch it up on us (which i wouldn't put past him), then i really don't know what to study. What do you think? He kept using the words "basically showing you the final"...I wonder what his interpretation of "basically" is

For right now, i'm just studying the final. Maybe we should go over old tests? by the way, did he ever mention getting our test 4 back to us?

he said the 4th test and final were going to be VERY similar to the book..and the 4th exam was almost exam. so...i think he may switch up the amino acids....but thats about it...

him saying "this IS the final" a few times gave it away

and he also told someone in my problem session that it was going to be exactly the same as the ones in our manual.
