Looks like "Pet Forum" has a decisive lead over any other forum people have thought of. More importantly, it has more than twice as much support as "Old School." The users that care enough to vote have spoken. And a significant percentage of the minority are only against it because they feel putting down others' ideas builds them up and would have voted against anything that was posted. As we all know, such is how insecure individuals act out on The Wolf Web.

plenty of us have been here significantly longer than you. guess why? cuz we like it the way it is. there are plenty of kinks in the system, but a new forum is not needed (again, old school wasnt made to fill in some great need and could be done away with).

lets add to that that "for pet forum" VS "against or seeing a need for something else instead" shows a great deal of support AGAINST your idea.

That's not what I'm saying at all. There are plenty of people that are honestly against the idea, and that's fine. But certainly you don't believe that there aren't some people that are arguing just because they like to be a**holes. The threads were created in "Feedback Forum" and "The Lounge" because I was hoping to get serious consideration. The people that are trying to make fun of me are just trolling, and this is not the place for it. They should be suspended.

Voting for "Old School" is a vote for the status quo. Voting for removing "Old School" is one thing, but my replacement idea doesn't add any MORE clutter, and arguably reduces it. If you care enough about the clutter, start a petition to remove "Old School." I doubt you do, and I doubt that many other people care either. However, lots of people seem to be in favor of "Pet Forum."

seriously, people. There are so many threads on health/fitness/outdoorsy pursuits that are just repeats of old threads. If we had a dedicated forum, we could have a nice, neat area to keep a few ongoing threads without them being lost beneath a pile of unrelated conversations.
