Yeah Bettany was up for it apparently, and I've heard that Robin Williams REALLY wants to be the Joker, which would be kind of weird, even with the darker movies he's got under his belt.

I like the idea of Heath being Joker. He's actually made me a decent fan with his characters in the Brothers Grimm movie (although the movie itself was boring) and I loved Casanova.

I think with make up Heath will have the right look, but I've never heard a Jokeresque laugh from him in a movie. I think he is a bit too normal to play the part, it will seem forced. Jack was just being Jack with +3 goofiness and it worked. Maybe they could dub Mark Hamill's voice over Heath's?

I remember Ledger from the Patriot (haven't seen any other movies with him in it), and he seems to serious to play someone like the Joker. I just don't know if he could fully potray the Jokers goofy insanity. That said, I wish they would stop doing all the well known villians. My favorite Batman villian was Clayface. They should do a movie about him. That would be the awesome. Make it happen, hollywood.
