the fact that hezbollah was not just hanging out in the desert and is an integrated part of lebanese society is ALL THE MORE reason for israel to do what they are doing...

So one of the UN observers that was killed was telling his ex-commander that Hezbollah was all around the UN compound and that the Israelis were not targeting them intentionally. It's a warzone, if enemy combatants are in your area either leave or accept that you may be killed because of it. Don't expect the IDF to let Hezbollah attack them and not respond because they are near a UN compound.
