^ eh maybe,

I think the majority of the 'hotseat' comments was stirred up by an uneducated media and a biased hometown paper.

To the fans who were pissed, it's understandable, but with ctc's classy comments, you are all forgiven in his eyes... just remember, 3 games, or 4 for that matter, does not a season make.

If we finish 5-2 or 6-1, all this hot seat stuff will sound so ridiculous, much like a rallydurham post.

3-4 and Amato deserves all the criticism he gets.

Still on the hot seat if you ask me.

IMO, he's on the hot seat until he gets us a winning ACC season. At least we're headed there......I hope.

^^^ you have got to be kidding me man.

There were fire chuck theads all over the place and i stuck up for Chuck the whole time.

I said we were going to suck dick this year because of Marcus. And i was right. We did suck dick.

I didnt expect Evans to be any good at all. I was wrong about that, but who in gods name knew he'd be this good let alone ANY good.

Theres numerous posts on here where i defended Chuck saying you cant win without a QB.
While we're at it, we had people bashing Trestman jsut a few weeks ago and i defended him too.

Amato gives probably the worst post-game interviews ever.

If Chuck loses to UNC, there will be some heat, but mainly cause they're fucking awful this year.

Trestman surprised me last night when some of those plays, even if they didn't work all that well. I'd like to see more of that.

^you kidding me? that shit last night on ESPN right after the game was classic.

I thought it was a pretty dickhead question to ask him about his critics after the win. Let the guy enjoy it.

that said, he did sound like an idiot

I mean, it was a cool response, but it was more like...

""What are your thoughts on your quarterback? [long, awkward pause where Chuck thinks up a fancy response] Ice."
"What do you say to your critics? What critics? [long awkward pause]""

Chuck's response was funny.

But its just a reminder of why Chuck has so many critics in the first place.

For some reason our team doesnt have any focus until they get their heads bashed in a couple of times.

Now they have some things going for them and you have to keep them focused and not let them get cocky again.

We still aren't bowl eligible, we still havent won a game on the road, we still have a long way to go.

He's got a chance to win an ACC championship if we get our act together. The ACC has no dominant team, he should take advantage of the opportunity. An ACC CHampionship would go a long way in subsequent seasons when he's back on the hotseat.

^^^good points. Chuck has to make sure we don't get ahead of ourselves, which has happened to our team in the past.

Hey dude, that "needledick" report is Dr. Jerry Punch, M.D. He's a state alum (and also played football I believe), and a hell of a good sideline reporter for both football and auto racing. Show some gotdamn respect for the only person we can acually LIKE over @ ESPN.

that's so true. people think: "that's just amato being amato" when we're winning.

when we're losing people think: "Look at that clown with his strung out voice. DANCE CLOWN!"

He was a walk-on for the football team. I think Holtz was coaching then.
