Reading comprehension isn't your strong point! I was saying that a lot of fundie Christians would be going nuts if they weren't leashed and tamed with material comforts. Actually latent guilt over their decadent lifestyle is pretty prominent and identifiable in Christian behavior. I guess some parts of Jesus' words are "just too hard". But at least hating fags is easy!

They aren't. Muslims seem to be more devout than Christians which increases the chances of a crazy fanatic being created. Christianity is a fairly easy religion to partake in, especially how it is done here in the US, so a lot of its followers don't really take it seriously.

and logic clearly isnt yours...Christians have done nothing that compares to a jihad since the crusades...people keep pointing to that and saying "see!!christians are crazy and violent too!!"...well...that was 800 years ago so get over it...christians are not as crazy as muslims (for whatever reason)

are you saying muslims are involved in armed conflicts/standoffs in europe (ireland, spain), africa (most of it), and latin and south america (all of it)? not to mention hundreds of other small/medium separatist groups in dozens of countries all over the world.

i think your statement should have been:

OEP, I hope you aren't targeting me in there. I didn't say one thing about it. All I did was point out that in 2 of the 3 examples of "non-muslim conflicts" given by Josh, there were muslims involved.
I was just pointing out that they were bad examples, that's all.

I think we all agree that Muslims carry out the deadliest targeted acts of violence against civilians.

You can't compare that to any armed conflict anywhere, and those aren't so global in nature and scope.

I live down the street from where this happened.

the shooter had actually converted to Christianity about 6 months ago. He was baptised and
had been going to a christian bible study group at some local non-denominational church

the title therefore should be ANGRY CHRISTIAN KILLS 1 INJURES 5 AT JEWISH CENTER.

in any event the guy was a freak. he blamed the Jews for controlling the US media and
financial institutions, and for starting all wars.

kinda like Mel "Salisburyboy" Gibson.
