old school > talladega nights > wedding crashers

but then again, i thought wedding crashers sucked.

talladega nights was pretty good. i didn't expect a whole lot out of it though. my biggest hopes were in sacha baron cohen and he delivered. i agree, the improv stuff between him and will ferrell were the best parts of the movie.

I spent over 3 months closin my eyes and humming whenever previews came on for this movie I wanted to see it so bad. It was everything and more i anticipated. you have to go with an open mind for laughin and an intangible love for Will...

The best thing about this movie is throughout the whole thing you are laughin at something, not many movies can make you do that I must say. The story line wasnt really developed but who cares...it was funny and thats all its meant to be. I absolutely loved it and place it over Oldschool and Right there with Wedding Crashers. I still wish Vince or Owen woulda made an appearence somehow but it worked out alright. The little red head kid made me laugh harder than any kid i have ever watched.

I have to warn you though go ahead and get ready there are gonna be people for monthssss quoting this movie, there were so many lines that are worthy.

It's weird you say that. Cause for me I think it's the exact opposite. Then again I thought Old School was dreadfully boring except for a few small parts.

LOVED IT!

10/10

She wasn't on the commercials and previews, but I KNEW Molly Shannon would end up in this movie somewhere! She's so funny, and she loves Will Ferrel!

Also, it was horribly inaccurate in the NASCAR sense so nascar knowledge is really notneeded to enjoy.

I know they filmed at that shitty hotel by Anna's Bail Bonds on 321 (near Garrison). I can't remember the name of the place though. I had to find another way to work b/c they blocked the streets off around the hotel.

Yeah, if you're complaining about movies being predictable, maybe you should skip out on the whole silly comedy genre all together. I successfully predicted the cheesy happy ending almost down to the exact detail about 1/3 of the way in, but I'll be damned if I let it stop me from enjoying the movie in the slightest.

^Well put.

However, (about the unrealistic part) they did disqualify Ricky Bobby and Frenchie for getting out of their cars.

Also, they didn't show many good drivers. Sure, Kasey Mears, but I wanted some winners! I wanted to see him beat Tony Stewart and pick on his attitude problem, or other big ones like Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and the other top winners of the time. I like how they kinda threw Jr. in there as an extra almost!

Last night, I couldn't get "Dear, 8lb. 6 oz. baby Jesus, lying there in your golden, felt diaper" out of my head last night! If you haven't seen it, you should!!

Yea, I went into this movie with low expectations (and only went because someone else bought my ticket ) and was greatly surprised. I thought it was awesome.

Meh, 7/10. It was good but not Anchorman good. The co-stars weren't funny, most of them seemed to even lack improv skills.

I thought it sucked after one viewing. And I never bothered to watch it again. I also didn't see what the big deal was with Old School either. 40YOV and Wedding Crashers, however I thought were funny as hell.
