Speaking of. What is the "secret" level. The one where you have to beat em all on the three difficult levels to unlock the last one. I just can't beat the radio tower and the space level on the most difficult levels. I don't know if my dexterity just sucks or I don't know the sequence/tricks to get the job done. I gave up 6 years ago.

There was a special boss that you had to fight that had a shitton of cyrstals around him. That was PUNISHMENT. Easy way is to get the Shell Armor and give it to Peach. Makes her near impossible to kill. Wait until the enemies run out of attacks to use, rez the party, wipe their asses.

^ Culex.

Motherfucker had 4096 hit points, and the crystals had between 800-2400 apiece

I sold almost EVERYTHING in my inventory, ran around for a few hours finding/buying Red Essences, then proceeded to tear into them. Shit STILL took long, though.

The End was tough the first go around. But then when you learn to sneak up on him and hold him up, he gives you his camouflage. 100% camo in grass; pretty neat.

The thing that really pissed me off about that game was trying to find and shoot all the little hidden frogs to get the the stealth suit.

Yea for some reason it took me forever too. I finally gave up and sold it only to buy Ninja Gaiden: Black later.

That way I could use the pink ribbon given to you if your really really suck.

ff8's Omega weapon is what comes to mind...I don't know if he counts though since he's an optional boss.

This has been years ago but I remember it taking hours although I wasn't well prepared the first time around...so it probably was harder than it had to be. My arm was so sore from boosting all of the GF's for so long that I had to take breaks.
