what if you fuck the bottle (well, at least try to) once you've pulled the label off?

Chomping on carrots is an oral fixation popular for being able to help those who have quit smoking.

And to boot, it is ultra-healthy as well.

I have heard of people whose skin and eyeballs have turned orange because of eating too much carrots!

one cannot possibly work out and have self-control and smoke

they are opposites

you are an example of the retarded attitudes towards smokers these days.

Oh and I won't die of cancer, I can assure you of that.

and I hope you don't drink, because you are increasing your cancer chances.

Drinking can be done in moderation, some people actually do it. I've never heard or read about anyone who consumed 6 drinks or less at a regular sitting getting cancer. It's most always the, "well I had already downed 18 beers" or "I nearly finished the entire fifth before lunch." One cigarette is harmful to your health, period. A few beers are not. "drinking" is a loose term.

Also, with population being out of control, why would anyone want people to quit smoking. it's a completely legal way to control it, and it's also a choice, doesn't get any better than that. Also, smoker's children are much more likely to smoke, I always find it interesting to hear people say "I'm going to quit when I graduate college/get a job/ get married, etc etc.

Do you have any proof to back that up? I say yes, a few beers ARE harmful to health.

Again, anecdotal.

I thought it was common knowledge that moderate consumption wasn't a health risk?

When I see a fat chick smoking a cigarette, I often think "you must be really pissed because that cigarettes are supposed to make you lose weight"

I had my first cigarette at 13. Between the ages of 13 and 18, I smoked cigarettes that I would get older kids to buy for me or other kids would snatch from their parents. At 18, I was smoking about a pack a day. I was unable to quit until the age of 22. The only reason I quit was that I was my grandmother's sole source of care after heart surgery. She needed 24 hour care and I was unable to go out and buy another pack. By the time she no longer needed round the clock care, 1 month, I no longer craved cigarettes. The only time I really want a cigarette now (2 years later) is when I have been drinking. I have bummed a cigarette on occation, but wish that I hadn't after I light it up because it tastes soooo bad.

LOL. They have done a real study. Studies show that the earlier you try smoking, the more likely you are to develop a habit.

^^ I guess it that makes sense. I suppose one of the reasons might be that children and teenagers are less likely to take the warnings against smoking to heart.

i can give you my girlfriend's stats...she smokes about a pack a week (never around me, as i'm allergic)...she smokes newports, and i believe she started when she was 14...quit when she met me, and then started up again about a year ago

it used to bother me, but now i just resign myself to the fact that she's going to do it whether i like it or not...i never miss a chance to call her dumb for it, though...she admits it's a dumb thing to do, but that's what addiction is, i suppose

i agree with you...it's been my experience that ridicule and pointing out someone's flaws only encourages them to do it more, out of spite or in order to prove to themselves that they have control over their own lives...not much i can do about it, though, as i can't think of what i can do to get her to quit...i'll take care of her when she's bedridden with lung cancer and/or emphysema, though, despite the fact that she knowlingly brought it upon herself

i like the thought of living to a ripe old age and actually being healthy enough to enjoy it...i don't understand why people want to fuck themselves over, but eh

I think it's weird that some people can smoke and smell like ass for hours because of it and some people don't seem to absorb the smell at all.

i first tried smoking when i was 20, just out of curiosity, with my then-girlfriend who smoked vanilla-flavored cigarettes. i'm not a huge fan of smoking in general but she never smelled like smoke.

my boss is the same way...i didn't know she smoked until i saw the cigarettes on her desk
