everyone is saying Lytle got robbed
I say the fight was way too close but i gave the edge to Serra (there should have been NO 30-27 scores fr either fighter, that was crap) but Serra definitely controlled the fight, I personally think he did more in the guard, as he continually attempted to pass, and that stand up thing he did to loosen the guard was really interesting..instead f trying to repeatedly bash him into the mat
also serra landed te only big blow in the fight, the spinning backfist (THANKS SHONIE!) which directly led to the take down
the foot stomps are gonna fuckin hurt tomorrow hahah
also Lietes was a bit of a letdown, but he has a granite dome like Mark Hunt
I like Din Thomas, go down to lghtweight my man (same with serra, after his title shot)

i agree that it was an entertaining card
i was upset cote lost...lutter is just a boring fighter and i didn't want to see him win.
i was pulling for serra and i think that fight should have gone to a sudden victory round(could someone inform me on how thats possible with three judges each scoring a round 10-9 if there isn't some super dominating round or penalty?) or a 29-28, 29-28, 28-29 win for serra...i also don't know what all the 30-27 scorings were about.
that was an awesome ending to that smith/sell fight 11/12/2006 10:25:25 AM |
