Wow, just got back from the game and carolina was just awful. Bunting is just yelling at these guys the entire team and they are just showing no emotion. Seems to be they dont even want to play for him.

I LOVED Tommy trying to challenge that TD but Clemson didnt have any TOs left. Oh well.

We need Boston College to lose some ACC games so lets hope they start tonight against State!!!

...except Clemson was on a down streak when they played Wake last year, and probably would've lost to anyone at that point.

nobody in the ACC is that good this year, klempson included. They could be the best of the shitty teams though.

Clemson plays some of the worst teams in college football this year (unc, fla atlantic, la tech, temple) and doesnt even have duke or virginia on the schedule.

i dont care who u are playing.

when u have 3 different running backs rush for over 120yards EACH in 1 GAME, i think we're a pretty serious team. 1 double OT extra point from a Top 10 ranking.

gtfo of the way of the TIGERS!

Chansi Stuckey broke his foot today and will be out for 3-5 weeks. Looks like he'll be out for the GT game and maybe back in time against VT.

Clemson is just another overrated ACC team.

The only team worth a damn from this conference this year is G Tech. They will win the conference.

Why, because I say what I think? More times then not I'm right. It's not like I'm trolling you just saying what I think.. I don't think Clemson is as good as GT. Not even close. I think they will lose 2-3 more games this year. If not for their heinously weak OOC schedule they wouldn't be a Top 25 team even..

OOC rankings (by collegefootballnews.com since they are the only ones who rank 1-119):

La Tech: 104
FAU: 115
Temple: 119

Oh well. I admit when I'm wrong and I'll do the same if I'm wrong about this. If you don't like it, well, no one is making you read what I post and respond to it.

^ I did and I think thought they were overrated too and I said that GT would beat them easily. The only BCS conference team they played OOC almost beat them and it's a lower tier BCS team.

** whatever though. I gotta watch some baseball. I don't even dislike Clemson at all. I loved going to a State game there..

Clemson is 4-1. we've won every game that we're supposed to win, and lost to BC by 1 point on a blocked extra try in 20T.

we have the best Oline in the nation, 2 all america RBs, a returning All ACC WR, a Groza Finalist Kicker, an All America DE...

we're an extra point from undefeated, and we've still put up 50+ points 3 times in 5 games. USC did the same against weak opponents.

our out of conference is weak, but last year it was tough and teams now cant afford to schedule USC and Texas every week or you stand no shot.

ACC is down this year, and this is Clemson's opportunity

I wouldnt be bragging about our kicker right now but I dont think we are overrated like we were when we won our first 8 games in 2000. The GT and VT game will basically decide the season. Itll be difficult if stuckey is still out but we got a good shot. Winning at VT on a Thurs night will be tough no matter how bad they are.

So far we have lost these starters due to injury:
Billie - broken ankle
Waters - torn acl
Hamlin - broken foot
Stuckey - broken foot

and

Merriweather is doubtful against WF with a sprained ankle

james davis is not the best back in the acc. the last game was proof of that. the last game showed any back can gain decent yards with clemsons oline. put brown baker mcgill on there and they are much better.

im an ncstate fan, and put brown/baker back they and yes they would be effective. but u cannot honestly say that they would be better. there is no way you can determine that. maybe they would be close, but james davis is 10x's faster and shiftier than both of them.

Quote :
"James Davis ran for a career-high 143 yards and two touchdowns before leaving with a broken wrist..."

when a no name back can come in and do the same thing it either proves you arent a great back or the no name guy is also a great back.

going to the Temple game on Thursday...

this will be the earliest i can remember a Clemson team becoming bowl eligible.
Good time for a game like this, especially before GT comes to Death Valley next weekend

Why do folks give NCSU a hard time for their non conf schedule?

FAU (1-4)
La Tech (1-4)
Temple (0-7)
and of course USC

Akron (2-4)
So. Miss (3-2)
ECU (2-3)
and of course App State (1AA, doesn't count)

most of the clemson fans i know pretty much couldnt travel thursday night because of work/kids. Im sure if it was a game against tougher competition or someone well known or on a saturday it would have been a better turn out.

My father went there and I grew up in upper SC during my younger years before moving to GA for a few years and then NC.

Ive averaged 7-8 clemson games a year since i was in middle school (about 14 years). Not too hard since the road games werent too far away (UNC, NCSU, WF, Duke, SC).
