the narration was weird, like it was spotty

after they showed Dr. Cox and Jack and Turk and N'SYNC it started "As for me..." like it had started before that but it hadn't

^ ditto. the character all change their hairstyles through out the season, but it just seemed to "n'sync" for me. seemed like it wouldve came out from a boy band cd cover. and the narration was pretty shotty. very sparadic and not throughout the entire show like old seasons.

Yeah it was a bit disappointing... but I can remember when the first episode of season 2 came out being very disappointed (changed the theme song, everyone was pissed of at each other so it was more drama than comedy, etc), but they were back in form and episode or two later. Give it a chance.

i downloaded it off bittorrent and watched it again. also read a review of it on ign and they loved it. ign had an interview with braff and bill lawrence, and they said that the decision to move the show and put it on now messed with their editing schedule, which i think was probably the biggest problem with this episode... it just seemed like the bits didnt flow together quite as well. hopefully it'll get better as it goes since they'll have more to get stuff done.

really? seems to me like comedy central does it so fucked up and backwards. it will literally skip back a year or 2 from episode to episode and vice versa. like jack will be in one episode on tuesday night, then wednesday will be the one where jordan saves coxs job. its really hard trying to get someone to get into the show with you when that keeps happening. with all the people they date and shit

it seems like theres continuity from the 7:00 to 7:30, but not from day to day.

The CC eps have stuff cut out of them. I guess comedy central shows more ads or something, but its kinda lame when you know you've seen a brief joke or gag in an episode before and they dont show it.
