maybe this thread should be repeated over in Chit Chat since it gets a ton of views, especially from those that will be going to the game, but not as crazy about sports as we are. remember the chant will try to be started at the end of the first quarter.

Got my 8x11 letters ready to tape onto the section 14 overhang...

Anyone else bringing signage??

If you really want Chris to come, he has to be surprised and impressed... I think its Gtowns recruit to loose, but we will only have a chance if we show up and do all this mess we are talking about.

Anyhow -- Go Pack!!

I was in Sec. 29. Did any chants happen? Banners? Anyone talk to him?

Damn, I wonder if he can play QB too.

there was a small chant at halftime, "WE want CHRIS wright," iirc.

I thought i saw his posse from afar once, in the red seat section behind the FG post in the SEZ

I knew several people in my section were waiting to get the chant going at the end of the first, but then band started playing, so my guess is there wasn't really an opportune time to start the chant.

yeah we got that chant going pretty good though right at the beginning of halftime....i didnt talk to anyone who saw him at the fanzone before the game. Hopefully he heard it, or at least someone with him did. probably 30 people in on it.

I definately saw chris walking with coach Harris and Levi Watkins as I was waiting in that rediculous line at gate 10. This was about 20 minutes before 6, and I didnt get to my seat until the kickoff had already happened. I wonder how long it took the rest of the students to get in.

Great night, except for the fact that I was trying to get in with my pregnant wife and she kept getting pushed (she is 8 months pregnant) so we opened the rail and just cut everyone...
But, they really need to treat the students with a little more convenience than they are doing now. If we get there 20 minutes before the kickoff, then we should be able to get to a seat to see the start of the game. There were no lines at all at any other gates. Opening one or two more will not hurt the rest of the ticket holders.

Oh yeah, we also walked a mile from the free vet lot because the three of us couldnt get a parking pass.

we parked in the vet lot too

i prefer it to trinity, just cuz the traffic isn't as bad leaving the game.

^^i didnt have trouble getting into the game but i can see where youre coming from..however they would have to buy more scanners if they wanted to open more gates to students

Yeah, I actually do like that lot, plus you can start your tailgate as early as you want.

Its nice if you arent obsessed with being right in the middle of the huge student tailgate in the trinity lot, and we were on home 5 minutes after getting to our car. Zero wait, so all in all, that was the good part. The lines for getting in though were rediculous. And after waiting for 25 minutes in a 5 wide line, people started their own line that was cutting our line all the way at the front right at 6:00. Pissed me off so bad, so we just took matters into our own hands and bypassed the line.

Other than that crap, great game, and I hope Chris saw that stadium packed and I hope lots of people were able to greet him nicely.
