I agree. People need to check themselves with the language they use around the little kids that are out there supporting the team. 9/5/2006 1:01:22 PM |

IMO, remove the seats from CF.
Standing does make you a better fan.
If it did not, why do the players often beg the fans to get into the game by doing the "stand up" hand wave? Why do people stand when excited, and get louder when standing and jumping around?
I have just as much right to stand and cheer for my team as you do to have a seat and relax your tired, old legs. 9/5/2006 1:08:02 PM |

now on another note...DONT make as much noise possible when WE ARE ON OFFENSE...let Stone communicate with the guys...yell and get loud after we make a good play...but stay pretty quiet before the snap when we're on offense 9/5/2006 1:12:10 PM |

You have a right to sit the whole game in the seat you pay for...just as you have the right to stand for any or all portions of the game they so choose. It is a football game, not the theater. If you want an unobstructed view, there is noone standing in front of your couch. 9/5/2006 1:22:47 PM |

hey nutsmackr did you ever go to any football or basketball game or whatever when you were a little kid and have some tall man sitting in front of you blocking your view while he was sitting down? you probably did what you could do to make things better...not harrass another fan for cheering on their team 9/5/2006 1:27:40 PM |

yes, I switched with my parents so I could see. fact of the matter remains, not everyone can just up and move their seat. Especially if an entire block of people are standing.
but thanks for completely missing the point of this entire thread and littering it with strawman arguments. 9/5/2006 1:30:43 PM |

the point of this thread is that I'm considerate of people around me
also, if you do by chance want to be a dumbass and stand the entire game, at least pay attention to said game.
and leaving at half-time and arriving mid way through the fourth doesn't make you a good fan. 9/5/2006 1:39:03 PM |

Standing allows you to not be enveloped by the gigantic tub of lard sitting next to (or very likely on your) bleacher seat who should really have to buy another damn ticket. 9/5/2006 1:49:55 PM |

I'm not talking about the bleachers.
Those are student seats. I couldn't care less about the student seats. 9/5/2006 1:50:55 PM |

^not all the bleachers are student seats. We had some App fans squatting in the seats next to us, which made it pretty hard to sit down most of the time (about 6 people in 3 seats total). 9/5/2006 6:49:35 PM |
