I honestly think our team is decent. The play calling is the problem, but i wasnt amonst the dozens who were so eager to say "we suck blah blah blah"

this is just ridiculous....saying that we suck is not being a bad fan when you still go to all the games and chear on the team. Giving up on the team is one thing...talking about our bad situation is not against the rules of being a good fan.

The difference you are failing to realize is that while all of these people are unhappy with the situation and talk shit about the team's poor play, they would not hesitate to defend their team if someone from another school started talking shit about NC State.

we still got a long, painful, season......only other ACC win I see is UNC, but they always beat us even when they suck.....same story as Herb, win one or two big games, get a contract extension....

^^i am very serious. i know it may be harsh but what way could you effectively punish bad fans while letting them keep their fanships?

talking about the teams shitty play is not a problem but things like saying the team will not win a game this year, we need to hirea new coach (during the season). saying we suck when we obviously don't suck is being a bad fan. we have really good talent almost everywhere but oline and qb. teams that suck don't have talent. i bet even temple f_u and duke fans think they can win a game this year.
