Seriously though, Im on board. Alumni or not, its time for Chuck to get on the road. I know it takes years to build a strong program, but its been 7 years and we arent even competitive. Other schools have quarterback issues, sure, but I cant think of one that has gone 3 seasons without someone that could play respectably under center. I want to say our receivers are ok, but seems like when a pass is actually thrown to them, they drop it half the time...maybe they are just surprised by it all. Seems like the only good thing we have going for us is kicking, but unfortunately even the best kickers cant kick FGs from our own 35 yard line, which is about where we end most drives.

And for the record, Ive been slow to come this point, I had hoped the App State game was just the results of ASU being a really good I-AA team and all of the excuses had some legitimacy, even though I knew better, and of course we see where were at now. If Chuck turns it around, great, but we need to start putting feelers out now so we know whos available and whos interested come December.

I would be laughing too. We got trashed by a C-USA team that's not even at the top of their league.

i have said, since like his first season, how over rated he was. he is and always has been a shitty coach. he had rivers to hide it for 4 years but even then we never did better than 4th in the friggin ACC. i remember his promise when he got here that we would be a national contender program.....we lost to freakin southern miss and the zips (two games on the schedule that are supposed to be garunteed wins). the only thing we are contending for is who is shittier us or duke. at least duke can say wait till basketball season

^^that was b/c we went after big dogs that werent going to leave texas and memphis, respectively, in highly public chases that made sure every other coach saw that they were one of our backup choices.

oh yeah, and the way herb was ran off after making the tourney didnt help either. i dont think canning amato after a 3-winh season would scare anyone away.

Not Going for 2 after the Evan's Final TD, UP by 1 the extra point does you no good. You go for 2 on a running attempt to give yourself the chance of being up by 3. If you miss it then you lost nothing. Yes if they ran it back for 2 points that would really suck but what are the chances of that if you let ANDRE run the ball?

Why not bitch about it? I mean say we kick it out of bounds by accident and they throw 1 good quick pass and kick the winning field goal. Or if chuck's undisciplined team gets a personal foul at the end of a catch (cant end the game on a penalty) and they win.

But most importantly tell me how the quick kick was a good idea?

there was a group of freshman/sohps behind me in the NEZ that started a "fuck amato" chant after Daniel Evans' interception toss. a quick "shut the fuck up you goddamn freshman" at the top of my lungs (i'm not a small guy, btw) ended that lttle mutiny in a hurry.

The FG would have been a 54 yd fg, as much as we are all up deraney's ass, there is no way he makes that 50% of the time

after the TD with 8 seconds left, we acutally should have just not kicked the extra point and kneeled. Us being NCSU, I could see us losing on a blocked extra point returned for 2pts. OMG EVEN BETTER LETS RUN A PLAY AND GIVE US A CHANCE TO FUMBLE OR THROW AN INT AND HAVE THEM RETURN IT FOR 2.

Couple this with the fact that Derany's leg decided not to show up last night and there was no way we want to attempt that field goal. The quick kick would have been a great play if #26 could have done his job and kept it from the end zone.

If you want to bitch about shitty coaching, you'll want to look at the end of the first half. That was terrible coaching.
