Wake County from 2000-2004

In 2004, for women 13-29 in Wake County, the Chlamydia rate per 100,000 is 3561.8
In 2004, for women 13-29 in Pitt County, the Chlamydia rate per 100,000 is 6082.5

In 2004, for women 13-29 in Wake County, the Gonorrhea rate per 100,000 is 1053.4
In 2004, for women 13-29 in Pitt County, the Chlamydia rate per 100,000 is 2003.5




You can look at this two ways.

1) Pitt Country is poorer than Wake County, thus the higher numbers could very well be coming from the overall higher percentage of poorer folks in the population. I make this statement, indeed the basis of it, on the assumption that the poorer population will be more likely to carry these two STDs. This may very well not be true.

2) If you fuck a girl 13-29 in Pitt County, the chances are nearly double versus Wake County that you catch either of these STDs.

I thought the whole brouhaha over the goal posts came when they had a home game in CF because their field was trashed by a hurricane (Floyd maybe?). They tore down our goalposts which got the general student body in a huff because we were doing them a favor lending our stadium to them and it wasn't even that much of a tear the goalposts down worthy game to begin with.

Here's where my memory gets sketchy... I think they also beat us in FB that year which effectively rubbed salt in the wound.

Good luck tearing them down this year. They retract now.

Everytime I go on the wolfweb and read the stupidity displayed by people who went/go to NC State, it makes me sad to know they go to the same school I got my two undergraduate degrees from.

ECU may not be a bastion of intellectuals or better than NC State.... but its far from a "glorified community college." You gotta take ECU zealots with a grain of salt. But its still not a bad school.

Some of the biggest retards I ever met went to NC State and UNC and quite a few really bright folks i know went to ECU.
