Well i just like to wear other shirts to keep the gameday atmosphere lively.

I couldnt in good faith wear red when our team played like they didnt give a fuck the past couple of years.

I'm waiting until NC State puts a team out there that isnt embarrasing before i go back to wearing red.

Last week was a step in the right direction.

Im a football fan.

I didnt give a shit about NC State before i came here.

I like good football.

If we play good football then i like it. If we play unwatchable football then i will continue to watch it because its my school but i will not enjoy it.

Continuous dumb penalties, bad coaching decisions, horrible QB's, etc are not entertaining to me. I hope every year that we will be good. I will cheer when we're good and laugh when we suck. I'm not going to let my mood be too affected by a school with absolutely no past football success and pretend we're on the verge of becoming a national power.

Basketball is a different story. I like NC State basketball. What i cant stand is our basketball fans. It's ridiculous that they demand success in football but not the same in basketball. It should be inverted.

Part of this also stems from the fact that college football isn't one of the better sports anyway. It's just not that exciting. College basketball on the other hand is one of the best sports around. I know it's been relatively weak the last few years (especially last years tourney good god) but im hoping the new rules for incoming freshman will rejuvenate the game so it can be as exciting as it was in years past.
