yeah, i said it, i mean wake was a couple plays and a short missed duke field goal from not winning the division - i figured they would lose to someone down the stretch. This was posted after four games and I don't consider it a stupid post based on the information up to that point. Wake doing what they have done in a 12 team conference is unprecedented and NOFUCKINGBODY would have predicted it. Kudos to Grobe and the boyz

Yeah they were also a couple plays and missed field goal away from beating the hell out of Clemson.

I didn't think they would win the division, especially after they lost their starting QB and RB, but I'm glad they did.

time to let this one die. Next year WF will be back in the gutter of the ACC football just where they belong. You would hope that if you readshirt all your players and they stay for 5 years you would someday have a good team.

8 on offense and 6 on defense. That could be a great team. Doubtful considering no team chemistry is the same when you lose players. Last season was a down year for ACC football. If you think Florida State, Miami, and other ACC teams are going to not be better your crazy Gunzz. Also a great team like wake was should have managed to beat duke by more than one point. Beat NCSU by 2 points and GT by 3. Yeah really good the beat the bottom ACC teams by 3 points a field goal in either game would have won it for Duke or NCSU.

No i don't think so I think they just played solid. I don't think next year their lack of talent and depth can be overcome by solid play. If that was the case they would have been winning for a long time. And they still weren't that great when it came time for big games they didn't play well. There claim to fame was a good defense to bad they lost 5 of 11 starters.

People won't consider them a great team but they will tone down the defense and play more position instead of run to the ball. Trick plays can only work for so long before a team gets lit up. A solid game against WF would be to play a 4-3 zone or nickel and not to over persue keep the DE in place with there heads up looking for reverses and trick plays. Thats how WF won most of there games was to play to the aggressive nature of its opponents. This year our team will not play stupid.
