well it took him about 5 games to get one last season in college and he finished with 13.

Mario is raw.

Everyone knew he was raw, he got by on athleticism in college not technique.

If he posts 5-6 sacks and they get mad at him for that then he should tell them to go fuck themselves.

The Texans are the ones that drafted him, Mario didnt assign himself to the Texans.

They knew exactly what he was, no one expected him to get 10+ sacks as a rookie.

If 3-4 years down the road he cant get ~10 sacks then that's on him. But in the meantime jesus whatever happened to letting guys develop?

Merriman is probably one of the better defensive players in the league. But after that, Maryland has shit to hang its hat on in the NFL. They have a couple mediocre players....but I would put Terrance Holt, Adrian Wilson, Brian Williams, Cotchery, and Rivers ALL above their second best NFL player.
