but as a motorcycle rider myself, I'd like to say that around the Raleigh area and ESPECIALLY around crossroads, you really have to watch out for all the dumb morons out there that cannot drive. I know that all of us can say that we have had our fair share of close calls due to these types of situations. There are some riders that take more liberties, but that generalization doesn't apply to all bikers, or even all 'suzuki' riders. but damn Excoriator... cut the kid some slack... and get out of this thread.

I hope your friend is alright... I've seen/heard about so many motorcycle wrecks lately...
Atleast it sounds like he was smart and had some gear on... otherwise he would probably have had more than a broken hip after that fall.
